IN COLLECTING FIELDNAMES J ELDING IS TOLD BY A LOCAL FARMER OF A STONE AXEHEAD, NOW IN BRITISH MUSEUM FOUND AT NGR. MR I K INNES OF BRITISH MUSEUM CAN FIND NO RECORD OF THE AXE IN BRITISH MUSEUM: PERHAPS IT WAS BROUGHT IN BRIEFLY FOR IDENTIFICATION (B1).
