Description

Dimensions - Length 225mm, Radius 5mm; Weight - 236g.
Plan Form - Circular.
GOLD ORNAMENT MADE FROM A SOLID ROD OF CIRCULAR CROSS-SECTION WITH FLAT-FACED TERMINALS. ENTIRE SURFACE IS DECORATED WITH ROUND/OVAL PUNCHED DOTS.TIGHTLY COILED, PROBABLY IN ANTIQUITY. PROBABLY A BRACELET. CONTAINS 87% GOLD. DECORATION IS UNCOMMON. EXCAVATION AT FINDSPOT BY MEF PRODUCED NEGATIVE RESULTS (B1-2).
