Description

Grade II. House. C16-C17, altered, with early-mid C18 cross wing. 2 C16-C17 bays have timber framing with brick infill exposed to E. side, C20 lean-to concealing framing on W. side, and later C18 flint and brick extension to gable. Cross wing is of flint with narrow brick dressings, off-set plinth and narrow band course. Plain tiled roofs, brick chimneys to gables of cross wing. T-plan. 2 storeys. C20 leaded casements, C20 canted bay with barred wooden lights across E. angle between wings. C20 door in W. gable end of cross wing. Interior of older part has substantial timber framing, one bay with heavy tension braces in walls, the other with curved wind-braces (B4).
