BACK LANE NOW KINGSMEAD ROAD. COTTAGE FORMERLY STOOD AT SU8990 9063. NO FURTHER INFORMATION (B5).


An Anglo-Saxon urn was found 'near a large tree in the stream opposite Baytree Cottage, Back Lane', Loudwater (SU 9090). It is now in the British Museum (Reg No 1914-10-10). (B2)

Back Lane is now called Kingsmead Road, and according to local information Baytree Cottage formerly stood in area SU 89909063. No further deduction is possible from available information (B7).
