Description

SILVER PENNY OF OFFA, KING OF MERCIA (757-796). BORE ON 1 SIDE 'OFFA REX' & WAS REMARKABLE FOR THE BEAUTY OF ITS EXECUTION & SHARPNESS OF ITS IMPRESSION. FOUND SOME YEARS AGO AT WEST WYCOMBE PARK (B1-2).
