Cottage and stables were heavily renovated 20 years ago after falling into disrepair.

Scotch kiln is heavily overgrown and the brickworking is cracking. AT RISK!

Brick makers shed demolished - no trace. (B6)
A 19th century brickworks is visible on historic aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located adjacent Old Brick Farm and centred at SP 84622 24804, an irregularly shaped brickfield covers an area about 10,323 square metres, within which is a rectangular building about 52 x 7 metres that was likely the processing and drying shed. Also visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 is a 6 metres quare brick kiln and what appears to be a surviving tall structure from the site of a second kiln that had been demolished, but which is itself demolished by 1961. The shed appears to survive in 1976, but has been demolished by 2003 to replaced by another on its footprint. The increasingly ruinous surviving brick kiln has also been demolished by this date. On aerial photographs taken in 2022 and recent remote sensing data, only the brickfield remains as an earthwork (9-15).
