Description
Grade II. House. C17, altered C19 and C20. Timber frame with brick infill to first floor rear, remainder rebuilt in brick C19 and C20, with some flint in right bay. Flanking flint and brick lean-to extensions. Half-hipped old tile roof. Central brick chimney with pilaster to left side. One storey and attic, 3 bays with half bay to left. Ground floor has irregular barred wooden casements; 2 gabled eaves-line dormers with similar 3-light casements. Board door to right of centre, C20 board door in lean-to to left. Interior has timber framed cross walls, that to right of chimney with curved bracing. Stop-chamfered spine beams, one bay with stop-chamfered joists. RCHM I p. 320 Mon. 15 (B1).
