Description
Grade II. House. Dated 1819 on plans and elevations signed by H. Rhodes. Dashwood estate farmhouse. Chequer brick, hipped slate roof, brick chimney. Double pile. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Below eaves is a frieze with projecting pairs of upright bricks set at intervals. Leaded casements: ground floor outer bays have 3-light transomed casements with segmental heads set in shallow arched recesses; first floor has paired casements with cambered heads. Central brick porch has shallow gable and rendered semi-circular arch with impost blocks and tall keyblock. Door inside is flush-panelled and slightly off-centre. Another bay set back to right.
