Description

Grade II. House, at one time a pair of cottages. Late C17. Timber frame with brick infill,some panels rendered, the front bay with deep flint plinth. Front gable rebuilt in brick and whitewashed. Old tile roof, central brick chimney. One storey and attic, 2 bays. Paired wooden casements, mostly C20, those to attic in catslide eaves-line dormers. Early C20 board doors to left and right, the right with shallow gabled wooden hood on shaped brackets. Pair of brick and flint oven projections to centre under lean-to roof. Interior: stop-chamfered spine beam in far bay; winder stair in line with stack; angled fireplace in corner of near bay; cellar below near bay (B1).
