Description

Grade II. Two houses. Mid and late C18, incorporating traces of older structure. Altered C20. Flint with brick dressings, tiled roofs and brick chimneys. 2 bays to left are of one storey and an attic, right bay of 2 storeys and an attic. C20 barred wooden casements. Left bays have segmental heads to ground floor openings, gabled eaves-line dormers and board doors to left and right, the right no longer in use and covered with trellis. Left gable has blocked first floor window and 2 small blind 2-light windows with brick surrounds to attic. Taller bay to right has all window surrounds rebuilt C20, gabled attic dormer and C20 door in lean-to to right. Interior of right bay has heavy chamfered ceiling beams end one massive chamfered purlin with wind-braced. Included for group value (B1).
