Description

Grade II. Pair of houses, No.2 once 2 cottages. No.l, to right, is late C18, of flint with narrow brick quoins and window surrounds, old tile roof and rebuilt brick chimney to left. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Narrow first floor band course of chequered brick, dentil eaves. 3-light wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars; narrow C20 door to right. No.2 is early-mid C19, of knapped flint with brick dressings. Tiled roof, central brick chimney. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Flush brick horizontal bands and bonded vertical strips, dentil eaves. C20 wooden casements as in No,1, 3- light to centre bays, 2-light to outer bays. C20 door between left bays, 2-light casement in blocked doorway between right bays. All ground floor openings have cambered heads (B1).
