Description

7 OR 8 HUMAN SKELETONS DISCOVERED IN LAYING OF SEWER. LYING SIDE BY SIDE WITH HEAD TOWARDS THE DYKE. NO ARTEFACTS TO PROVIDE DATE. SHALLOW GRAVES, 2-3FT BELOW ALLUVIAL SOIL, SUGGESTS HASTY INTERMENT. SKULLS OF DOLICHOCEPHALIC PEOPLE. WELL PRESERVED TEETH. 1 SIMILAR TO ENGIS SKULL FROM MEUSE VALLEY (B1).
