Description

Grade II. Barn. Late C18-early C19. Timber frame and weatherboard on high flint and brick base walls, half-hipped old tile roof. 4 bays. Half-hipped projection to right of centre has cart entry blocked with corrugated plastic sheeting. Left bays have C20 lean-to loose boxes of concrete blocks with corrugated asbestos roofs; right bay has lean-to shelter also with corrugated roof. Raking queen post and queen strut trusses. Known as Upper Barn. Included for group value. Later extension with yard entry to left is not of special interest (B1).
