Description

Grade II. House. C17. Timber frame with whitewashed render infill to front and whitewashed brick infill to right gable. Left gable shingled. Old tile roof. External C17 brick chimney to right with moulded corbel, pilaster, and off-sets and moulding at base of shaft. Later brick chimney to centre. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Ground floor has canted bay windows with gables and late C19 4-light wooden casements. Upper storey has similar oriels with gables breaking through the eaves, each oriel on a C17 single shaped wooden bracket. Single barred wooden window to ground floor left. Central old board door with leaded board hood. Phoenix fire insurance plaque. (RCHM I p.188 Mon. 26) (B1).
