Description

Grade II. House. C16-early C17, altered. Front has timber framing with large curved brace and whitewashed brick infill to upper storey, ground floor rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Left gable rebuilt C17-early C18 in flint with narrow brick dressings; right gable rebuilt in brick; some timber framing to rear. Old tile roof, flanking brick chimneys, the right chimney external and of thin brick. 2 storeys, 2 bays. C20 leaded casements: 4-light to right bay and first floor left; 5-light to ground floor left; 3-light to centre over door with flat wooden hood. Small rear wing with flint and brick ground floor and half-timbering above. Interior not seen. (RCHM I p. 188 Mon. 28) (B1).
