Description

Grade II. Two houses. Early C19 rebuilding of older structure, incorporating one C16 cruck blade. Flint with brick dressings, tiled roofs, C19 brick chimneys with pilasters. T-plan. Lower wing to right of one storey and an attic and 2 bays, gabled cross wing of 2 storeys and an attic to left. C20 barred wooden casements with brick relieving arches: lower wing has 2-light casements, the upper windows in gabled eaves-line dormers; cross wing has canted bay window to ground floor, 2-light casement to first floor and single light to attic. Door to left of lower wing with hipped hood on brackets. Interior: lower wing has cruck blade exposed in front right corner; cross wing has substantial spine beams (B1).
Removed from list, 15th November 2010, following fire damage (B2).
Subsequently demolished and rebuilt.
