Description

Grade II. Terrace of C18 cottages. 2 storey. Colourwashed brick with string at 1st floor level. Each of 2 windows. No 4 now incorporates former No 2, although part of this cottage now opens onto West Street as Queen Cottage (qv). Chequer brick. Old door to No 2 now blocked, but hood remains incorporated with that of No 4 in new tiled roof. 3 light casements, one small window in place of old door and one small extra window to left on 1st floor. New tile roof.
No 6 has shutters, ground floor sashes and 1st floor casements. Band. Doorway with modern door right of centre. No 8 was altered in C19 and roof raised. Now tiled. Shop front. 1st floor has glazing bars and shutters (B1).
