Description

Grade II. Early C19. 3 storeys and cellar. Brick. Moulded flat eaves. Slate roof. 3 bar front. Windows diminished in size upwards. No glazing bars, but all have fretted sunblind pelmets. Modern shop front in suitable style with large though shallow multi-panel bay, and modern panelled door on extreme left hand. In front of this a small porch with 2 plain columns and entablature linked to that of shop front. Modern sign in wrought iron projecting frame. Nos 41 to 49 (odd) and the Chequers Hotel form a group (B1).
