Description

Grade II. Early C20 statue of a nude girl seated on a plinth in stone. A memorial to Charles Frohman a well known theatrical manager who was drowned in the sinking of the Lusitania in May 1915. Inscription below statue reads 'For 'tis not right that in a house the muses haunt mournings should dwell. Such things befit us not'. (B1).
