Description

Grade II. Shop and house. Originally C17-early C18, altered early C19. Some traces of timber frame inside, mostly rebuilt in brick, whitewashed to front, pebble-dashed and tile-hung to rear gables. C20 tile roofs. 2 storeys.2 lower bays to left have dentil eaves, the left bay of whitewashed render with 3-light wooden casement over entry to rear yard,the centre bay with sash window over C20 shop-front. Taller bay to right has attic storey, off-set eaves, and stump of brick chimney with grouped shafts to rear right. 4-pane sash with segmental head to first floor, C20 shop front below. Included for group value (B1).
