Description
Grade II. Pair of houses. C17, altered. Left bays rebuilt late C18-early C19 in flint with brick quoins and window surrounds; old tile roof, half- hipped to left. Right bays have some timber framing exposed to rear, remainder rebuilt in red brick early-mid C19, with thatched roof, half-hipped to right. Central brick chimney with grouped shafts. 1½-2 storeys, 4 bays. Irregular C20 leaded casements to ground floor, that to right of centre in canted bay window with hipped tile roof. Small old 2-light leaded casements in centre bays, the left below eaves, the right in thatch. C20 half-glazed door between left bays, board door between right bays, both with segmental heads. Lean-to timber shed to left, later single storey wing with timber frame to rear of right bay, probably mid C18. Interior: right bays have original partition with remains of heavy curved brace (B1).
