Description

Grade II. Public house. Early-mid C19, altered and extended C20. 3 original bays to centre are of rubble stone with brick quoins, first floor band course and bonded window surrounds,all colourwashed. Slate roof, brick chimney to right. 2 storeys and cellar. Paired casements with 4-centred brick arches and top-lights, the lower windows with wooden glazing bars, the upper windows leaded. Cellar window to right. Central gabled porch has cogged eaves and blocked arch with keyblock. Matching extension of one bay to right has C20 oriel window to ground floor, C20 metal French doors above, and depressed arch over door to right. C20 extensions to left are of textured and colourwashed render with hipped slate roof and matching windows. Further extensions to rear (B1).
