Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered, with C17-C18 bay to left and C20 extension to right. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, some brick C17. C20 tile roof, hipped over extension to right. Partly rebuilt brick chimney to centre, smaller C20 brick chimney to right. 2 storeys. Original house of 2 bays with central chimney and lobby entry; narrow C17-C18 bay to left. Paired barred wooden casements to ground floor of original left bay, and to first floor. Single light over C20 door. C20 canted projection with similar casements to right and infront of C20 boarded extension. Original left bay has chamfered spine beam and heavy stop-chamfered joists. RCHM I p.261 Mon. 19 (B1).
