Description
Grade II. House. Mid-late C18, incorporating C17 chimney, with C19 extensions in rear angle. Brown brick with red brick quoins and window surrounds. First floor band course and off-set eaves have alternate courses of red and blue headers. Old tile roof, large external brick chimney to left. L-plan with C19 infill. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. S.E. front has wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, 3-light flanking 2-light, those to ground floor with cambered heads. C20 single light to left of door. 2 gabled dormers with paired leaded casements. Central flush-panelled door in C20 wooden porch with flat wooden hood on twisted wooden columns with Corinthian capitals. Rear range part brick, part C19 flint and brick with irregular windows and central arched entry. Interior: ground floor right room has moulded stone fireplace with 4-centred arch and moulded stops, possibly not original (B1).
