HOUSE NOW (1878) BELONGS TO MR HERBERT SIMMONDS (B2).
NGR TO 14 HIGH STREET (B4).
"Langley in his history (1797) mentions that many years since, part of a Roman vessel was found when a cellar was dug in a house in the High Street, now belonging to Mr Herbert Simmonds" (B1, above). (Sited to SU 8667 9296 from Parker's map). (B2, above)
