Description

Grade II. House. Late C18. Brick, whitewashed to front, with initials WI in blue headers in right gable. Rear wing part thin brick, part flint. Half-hipped thatch roof, rendered and whitewashed chimney to left with small oven projection. L-plan. I) storeys, 2 bay front wing. Left bay has 3-light leaded casements, the lower with board shutters, the upper partly in the roof. Right bay has 2-light windows with C20 leading. Central door in lean-to porch with thatch swept down to form verandah. Weatherboard outbuilding attached to left. Old leaded casements to rear wing; C20 conservatory in rear angle. Interior has winder stair in line with fireplace, curved wind-braces in roof, old board doors and C17 moulded panel doors (B1).
