Description

Grade II. Row of 3 cottages. C17, altered. Front rebuilt, roughcast and whitewashed. Old tile roof, central chimney of thin brick with off-set head, C18 chimney to front right corner, later brick chimney to front left. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Left bays have C20 wooden top-light casements; third bay has 3-light wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars; right bay has 3-light wooden casements, the upper barred, the lower with C20 glazing. 2 C20 doors in second bay, another in right bay. All ground floor openings have segmental heads. Right bay has chamfered spine beam and heavy joists, and corner fireplace. Irregular timbering in second bay. Included for group value (B1).
