Description

Grade II. House. C17, much rebuilt early - mid C19. Front and gables are of brick with flint plinth; some timber framing with plastered brick infill to first floor rear of right bay. Old tile roof, C17 brick chimney with 'V' pilasters between right bays, another brick chimney at left end. One storey and attic, 3 bays. 3-light wooden casements to outer bays; horizontal sliding sash to ground floor centre with C20 paired wooden casement above. Attic windows are in gabled eaves-line dormers; ground floor openings have segmental heads. Lobby entry with old board door between right bays. Later brick and flint extension with catslide roof to rear. RCHM I p. 285. MON.13 (?)(B1).
