Description
Grade II. House. C17, of 3 different builds, part altered. 2 bays nearest road are timber framed with whitewashed brick infill; 2 far bays rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Old tile roofs. C17 chimney of thin brick to centre of range, rebuilt brick chimney between far bays, lateral brick chimney to near bay. C19 whitewashed brick and flint extension with slate roof to left of near bay, lean-to to right. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Irregular barred wooden casements; C20 doors in small half-timbered porches to gable and left side. C20 lean-to at far end links house with range of whitewashed brick outbuildings. Interior: second bay has heavy framing with curved and diagonal braces and wind-braces, and stop-chamfered spine beam; near bay has slighter framing but incorporates heavy C16 floor joists (B1).
