Description

Grade II. Two cottages. Circa 1800. Red and vitreous brick, old tile roof, brick chimney to left. One storey and attic, 3 bays. Band courses at ground floor sill and first floor levels; off-set eaves. Paired barred wooden casements, those to ground floor with cambered heads, those above in gabled eaves-line dormers. Board door between left bays, glazed door in right bay, both with cambered heads. Gable ends partly rebuilt. Lean-to at rear of right bay (B1).
Two 17th century cottages, merged and now known simply as Dene Cottage (B2).
