Description

Grade II. House. Late C17-early C18. Chequer brick with vitreous headers, flint plinth, old tile roof, partly rebuilt brick chimney to right of centre. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays. First floor band course with small modillions. 3-light leaded casements, those to ground floor with flat brick arches. Blocked central window, possibly once a doorway; small oval leaded window to centre of first floor. 2 bricks initialled AD and MF. C20 matching lean-to extension to right with paired leaded casement. Left gable has 3-light leaded casements to main storeys, and 2-light to attic. C20 brick wings to rear, of one storey and an attic with gabled eaves line dormers. Interior has chamfered spine beam and fireplace lintel with bar stops in left bay, and winder stair in former projection to centre rear (B1).
