Description

Grade II. Two houses and outbuilding, formerly barns. Late C18, converted mid 1970s. Main barns are timber framed with C20 weatherboard cladding; outbuilding similar but with flint and brick wall to road. Old tile roofs, C20 brick chimney at junction of main barns. Ranges surrounding 3 sides of former farmyard. Piranor Barn, on S. side, has 3 bays of one storey and an attic, and 2 lower bays at E. end. Side to yard has irregular C20 single lights and skylights; S. side has door in gabled projection to centre of main part, formerly a cart entry, and other irregular lights to remainder. Bramble barn is similar, of 5 bays with central door below lean-to hood to W. Outbuilding has 3 stable- type doors and one window, all C20 (B1).
