Description

Grade II. House. C16-C17, altered and part rebuilt c.1890. Left part is of brick with flint plinth, the left bay with partial band course; right bay is of flint with brick dressings and band course. Half-hipped old tile roof, 2 c.1890 brick chimneys between right bays. 2 storeys, 3 1/2 bays. 1890 wooden casements, 4 2-light to upper storey with small gables above, irregular to ground floor. 1890 half-glazed door and gabled timber porch between right bays. Outshot to rear. Interior: timber framing in original rear wall; heavy longitudinal joists in left bay; 2 trusses with slightly arched chamfered tie beams and queen struts, stop chamfered cross beam in right bay (B1).
