Description

Grade II. Pair of barns. E. barn dated 1803 on tie beam, W. barn dated 1804. Lower walls are of coursed Denner Hill stone; timber-frame with C20 weatherboard cladding above. Tiled roofs. E. barn is of 4 bays with off-centre entry and lean-to loose boxes on yard side. Trusses have braced tie beams and elbowed principals. W. barn has 5 bays with central entry and aisle on yard side. Similar trusses with ogee braces to tie beams. Entries have double doors to N. side, and gabled projections with small doors to yard (B1).
