Description

Grade II. House. C17, extended and refronted early C19, rear partly rebuilt C18. Right side has timber frame with later brick infill; front is of early C19 flint with brick dressings and dentil eaves; some thin brick to rear. Old tile roofs, hipped over front range. Brick chimneys to centre of front range and to far end of timber framed wing. L-plan. 2 storeys. Front has 2 bays of 4-pane sashes with altered surrounds and segmental heads. Central C20 door with semi-circular brick arch and blind window panel above. Right side has 2 1/2 original bays with irregular C20 barred wooden casements and blocked C17 3-light window to first floor left. C20 brick extension to far end. RCHM I p.56 Mon.9 (B1).
