Description

Grade II. Two houses. 2 C16 bays with later extensions to right, possibly C17 but much rebuilt C19 and C20. C20 bay to left. 2 original bays have rendered base wall, and timber frame with curved braces and brick infill above. Remainder brick. Plain tile roof, brick chimneys. 2 storeys, the lower mostly below road level. Approximately 6 bays, plus C20 bay to left. Right bay is gabled to front. Small irregular wooden casements, C16 part with single leaded light to left. 3-light barred wooden casements in right bay, C20 extension blind. Entries to rear and in porch at right end. Interior: C16 bays have some timber framing with curved wall braces in internal walls, and arched wind-braces. Slight floor timbers, altered fireplaces (B1).
