Description

Grade II. House. Probably C17 but mostly rebuilt C19. Brick, weatherboarded gable, old tile roof, central brick chimney. One storey and attic, 2 wide bays. W. front has 2 small gables and 2 bays of paired barred wooden casements. Smaller 2-light casement to centre, single light to left, one blocked doorway. All ground floor openings have segmental heads. N. gable has C20 paired barred wooden casements and a canted bay window. Board door with gabled porch to left, in end of C20 lean-to which runs along E. wall. Original E. wall, now inside, retains substantial timber framing. Included for group value (B1).
