VIKING SPEARHEAD WITH LONG BLADE SHARPLY POINTED & PRONOUNCED ANGLE AT BASE OF BLADE. FOUND BY MR GREGORY WHILST EXCAVATING FOR DRAINAGE OR FOUNDATIONS NEAR SITE OF MOAT OF CASTLE ABOUT 1896 (B1-2).

SP 695339. Viking spearhead found by Mr Gregory when digging at the foot of Castle Hill near the site of the moat in about 1896. In Buckingham County Museum Acc No 23 63 (B2).
