Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered. Rendered and whitewashed, the right gable with half-timbering. Old tile roof, central chimney of narrow brick with pilaster to front. Single pile lobby entry house with gabled stair turret to centre rear, gabled bay in angle to rear of left bay, and C20 flat-roofed extension in angle to rear of right bay. 2 storeys, 2 bays. 3-light leaded casements, the lower right transomed. Central C19-C20 panelled door, top-lit, with ornamental flanking pilaster panels and hipped porch on wooden posts. Interior: timber framing exposed in original rear wall; stop-chamfered spine beam and stop-chamfered joists in right bay; fireplace with segmental brick arch, partly blocked, in left bay (B1).
