Description

Grade II. House. 2 C17 bays with later lean-to at E. end, and c.1967 extensions to W. and S. Original bays are timber-framed with whitewashed render infill and one exposed curved brace on S. side. Lean-to is of flint and brick, part whitewashed; 1967 extensions are of whitewashed brick. Tiled roof, the C17 part with old tiles and brick chimney at E. end. 2 storeys. S. side has 3-light wooden casements in right bay and C20 metal casements in left bay. N. side has door in right return of lean-to, single wooden lights in narrow exposed part of original building, and 1967 catslide extensions in front of remainder. Extension has barred wooden casements. Timber framing revealed inside, with large curved braces to central truss. Slight spine beams, old board doors (B1).
