Description

Grade II. Row of 4 small houses. Early C19, refurbished and extended 1960s. Flint with brick dressings; old tile roof, half-hipped at left end; brick chimneys between original outer bays. 2 storeys, 4 original bays. 3-light leaded casements, renewed C20, in bonded brick surrounds, the ground floor windows with segmental header arches. Narrow bonded brick strips link centres of upper and lower windows. C20 doors, one to left, 2 to centre, all in good late C19 wooden porches with moulded cornices on slender columns, slat balustrades, lattice screens and internal benches. Right cottage has doorway altered to casement, and matching 2 bay extension with through arch to rear at right end (B1).
