Description
Grade II. Three houses. Late Cl6 and C17, with early-mid C19 extension projecting to left. Original parts are timber framed with whitewashed brick infill, old tile roofs and rebuilt brick chimneys. C19 extension is of whitewashed brick with hipped roof, now tiled but formerly slated. U-plan, with 2½ C16 bays to centre, 2-bay C17 gabled wing projecting to right, and C19 block to left. Older parts are of 2 storeys. Centre bays have irregular wooden casements, one gabled dormer, French doors between left bays, and old board door with lean-to tiled hood to right. Right wing has C20 leaded casements, canted wooden bay window in left return, and front gable rebuilt 1985. C20 door and oriel window to right side in gable end of rear wing. C19 projection is of 2 storeys and an attic, and has 2 3-pane sashes to each floor, small C20 flat-roofed dormer, and C20 half-glazed door with flat hood to right. Ground floor openings have cambered heads. Interior of rear range has curved wall braces and some slightly curved wind-braces (B1).
