Description

Grade II. House. Late C16, altered. Whitewashed roughcast, the upper storey with concealed timber framing. Old tile roof, large central brick chimney. 2 storeys, the upper storey jettied to front. 2 gabled bays, the right a cross-wing, with central gabled 2-storey porch projection. C20 leaded casements, 4-light to main bays have with the ground floor casements in canted bay windows. Porch projection is also jettied, and has old 2-light leaded casement to first floor, C20 door and C20 lean-to tiled verandah. Rear has catslide, possibly of later date, and C19 single-storey extension. C20 whitewashed brick extension set back to right. Interior: timber framing is visible in upper storey, and has some curved braces (B1).
