Description

Grade II. House. C17, altered C19 and C20. Colourwashed render, the upper storey retaining concealed timber framing, the ground floor mostly rebuilt in brick. Tile-hanging below half-hip of right gable. Plain tile roofs. Fine chimney to centre of right wing has 6 diagonal shafts of thin brick with off-set heads. T-plan, with cross wing projecting to right. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 barred wooden casements: 3-light to right bay and ground floor left; 2-light to first floor of left bays in semi-dormers with tile-hung gables. C20 door and gabled porch in centre bay. Weatherboarded former stable to left is now part of house. Small brick lobby with C20 door to right. Interior: timber framing with angle bracing is visible in upper storey of left bays; centre bay has one pair of curved wind-braces (B1).
