Description

Grade II. Barn. Mid C18. Timber frame with weatherboard cladding and brick plinth. Steeply pitched slate roof. 8-9 bays. Third bay has gabled projecting cart entries on both sides; sixth bay has similar entry to south; seventh bay has smaller entry projecting to north. Later outbuildings attached to front of left bays. Double purlin roof, the upper collar on tall queen struts that rake slightly outwards down to tie beam, the lower purlins with spur collars on small queen struts. Braced tie-beams. Included for group value (B1).
1999 and 2003 APs show building now demolished.
