Description

Grade II. C17 and C18. Two storeys, brick ground floor rendered and painted above. Three casements, 3-2-2. Segmental arches to ground floor; central door with plain hood. One storey wing to north with good exposed timbers inside. Old tile roof, brick stack (B1).
Watching brief carried out by TVAS in March 2002 failed to find any remains of of the medieval Penn tile industry: 0.72m of modern made ground directly overlay the natural clay (B2).
