Description
Grade II. Late medieval hall house with 2 storey cross wing. Timber frame with later brick infill. Tiled roof. Large brick stack inserted into former smoke bay between hall and crosswing. Entrance opposite stack with modern porch; 3-light modern casements. Weatherboarded lean-to at end of hall wing, and small modern rear extension with hipped gable. Interior has chamfered arch-braced collar truss formerly in centre of hall visible in attic, and chamfered posts supporting it on ground and first floors. Exposed trusses throughout (B1).
