Description

Grade II. Late C16 timber-framed farmhouse of 2½ bays and 2 storeys. Refronted in brick c1800, now colourwashed. Slate roof. Band course, door in right hand half bay with single light window over. Two 3-light casements. C18 stack to left gable, C16 or C17 stack between right hand bay and half-bay backing onto entry passage, perhaps inserted. Timber-framing exposed in north gable elevation. Rear pitch tiled. Early C18 stair wing at rear with original closed string staircase. Chamfered and stopped spine beams to C16 part, cellar under left hand bay. Inglenook has Jacobean cupboard with balustered centre (B1).
