Description

Grade II. C17 timber-framed house (Holly Tree Cottage) with C18 and C19 east ranges in brick (Cavendish Cottage). Two storey, except 1½ storey front range to No 41. Old tile roofs. No 40 colourwashed roughcast with planted timber-framing to upper storey. No 40 three bay house at right angles to road with central stack of old thin bricks. Front range 2 bays with 3-light leaded casements, gabled upper windows with ornamental bargebords, stack at right of old thin bricks. Cavendish Cottage with pentice verandah to road on posts. Dormer to hipped gable elevation of front range. Three light casement with hood mould below. Two storey gabled rear block (B1).
