Description

Grade II. Formerly known as Cats Croft. C17 timber-framed with C18 brick casing, altered. Old tile roof. Two storeys, section on left one storey with attic and modern dormer. Central section with modern door, 2-light casement and circular window to first floor. Gabled wing on right with first floor band, 2-light casement to first floor, large brick stack to flank wall. Interior: timber-framing visible in main block and crosswing. History: original property of Lady Boys Charity founded 1640 of which John Hampden was one of the first Trustees (B1).
